HOW TO CHOOSE WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN HIGH DEFINITION CAMCORDER SHARING VIDEOS HELP TO BOND SOCIAL NETWORKS
LOOK FOR THREE ATTRIBUTES IN HIGH DEFINITION CAMCORDERS TO INSURE SOCIAL AND FAMILY VIDEOS LOOK GOOD AND FOR LONG TERM
I have dedicated a few posts to talking about high definition camcorders and camcorders in general because I do believe that making videos and photos helps cement family bonds and social networking. A bit of a stretch perhaps but there it is. Family affairs, get togethers, friends gathering, take those videos and photos you'll thank me later. Studies have shown that having a social network, a.k.a family and friends is one of the best things you can have for your mental health. Your social network and the ability to share with others and have people who care about you is one of the best bulwarks against tough times and the inevitable challenges of life. High definition camcorders produce high resolution video that looks great on LCD Television and HDTV. As a magazine says high definition camcorders are the future proof video camcorders. High definition camcorder video cameras are percolating into the world of consumers. As time goes by it's great to have a record to share the good times and significant events. How many times have you wished you had a video of some great time in your life? Your family, your parents, your kids? Aunt Shirley or Grandpa Joe? The high definition video camcorders with prices coming to more affordable levels provide an excellent vehicle to record and share those great times.
A review of camcorders said "If the only video you shoot is clips of your dog for YouTube, most any camcorder will do. But if you're recording your child's first steps or daughter's wedding, you want some assurance that it will still be viewable in 20 or 30 years, when you'll get the most pleasure out of watching it. While today's digital video formats will undoubtedly be obsolete by then, you can choose a reasonably future-proof video camera by following three key guidelines. Buy the best image quality you can afford. Capture in a widely supported format. Use a long-term storage medium".
"To get the highest image quality and full-quality playback on that spanking-new HDTV you bought you should be thinking HD. There are two main high-definition video formats in consumer camcorders: HDV, which came out in 2004 and uses the same kind of MiniDV tape cassettes as the original (and hugely successful) standard-def DV format; and AVCHD (Advanced Video Codec High Definition), a still-maturing format that first appeared in mid-2006 and can be recorded to DVD, hard disk, or flash memory".
To get an idea of the quality difference you can expect look at these examples of HD high definition video on the video sharing site Vimeo on the Internet.
