I doubt if most people, no matter how many television episodes they have watched realize what it is like to be an emergency doctor. To be an emergency doctor requires a combination of quick thinking, organizational and people skills that sometimes seem almost beyond belief. No amount of television does it justice.

Yikes. Instinct kicked in, she was intubated without drugs, lines were started, atropine given, she stabilized rather quickly. Her etoh level( blood alcohol) was 410. Thats a lot of shots".
