The Heimlich Maneuver has had some controversy in recent years. But it seems that every day you read about someone saving a choking friend by performing the Heimlich maneuver. But it seems that every day you read stories like the one about the senator saving a choking victim or a child saving a friend or sibling who is choking on a piece of a toy or food.
