DOES YOUR HUSBAND RAISE YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE COULD BE SAYS STUDY OF BLOOD PRESSURE AND MARRIAGE

Does your husband raise your blood pressure? It's not your imagination if you believe a study about blood pressure and marriage. Take this quiz about blood pressure. You know that aggravation makes your blood pressure go up. Type A personality and so forth. O.K. So who has the highest blood pressure?
Rank these people from highest to lowest blood pressure. A. A person who is single B. A person who is in a happy marriage C. A person who is in an unhappy marriage.

The answer is CAB. That's what a study of blood pressure and marriage by a Brigham Young professor demonstrated. "New research shows that happily married adults have lower blood pressure than singles with supportive social networks, suggesting marriage may literally be a matter of the heart". The study of blood pressure and marriage was called “Is There Something Unique about Marriage? The Relative Impact of Marital Status, Relationship Quality, and Network Social Support on Ambulatory Blood Pressure and Mental Health.”

The study by Julianne Holt-Lunstad and others also found, unsurprisingly, that unhappily married adults have higher blood pressure than both happily married and single adults. So that unhappily married adults had the highest blood pressure followed by singles and the lowest blood pressure was in the happily married group.
